Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your PropertySearchGPT account and the data associated with it. It is provided in compliance with Google Play's account deletion requirements.

Last updated: October 2026

Option 1 — Delete directly in the app

  1. Open the app and tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of any screen, then select Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm when prompted. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Send an email to support@propertysearchgpt.ai from the address associated with your account. Include “Delete my account” in the subject line. Email requests are processed within 30 days.

Data deleted upon account removal

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account credentials — email address, password hash, and authentication tokens
  • Profile information — name, preferences, and saved search filters
  • Watched listings — all saved properties and price-change alerts
  • Search history — past property searches and location queries
  • AI chat history — all conversations with the AI property assistant
  • Notification settings — push notification preferences and device tokens
  • Comparison lists — saved property comparisons and notes
  • Financial analyses — saved mortgage calculations and ROI estimates

Data retained after deletion

A small amount of data is kept after account deletion for the following reasons:

  • Anonymised error logs — crash reports and diagnostic data stripped of all personal identifiers, used solely to improve app stability. These are deleted after 90 days.
  • Legal and fraud-prevention records — transaction logs and security records required by law or needed to investigate fraud or abuse. These records contain no personal profile data and are retained only for as long as required.
